How we protect guests from Covid-19
Our cleaning process before you arrive
- Suite/room is ventilated for at least 4 hours
- Suite/room is cleaned and disinfected as well as balconies.
- Change of all decorative items such as bed runner, cushions, table cloth etc.
- Sanitation of the bed including change of mattress, pillow and duvet protectors.
Special attention are given to:
- Door handles and knobs
- Hard surface furniture, tables, nightstand
- AC and light control buttons
- Towel racks, hairdryer, wardrobe hangers, safe and room keys.
When you arrive
Upon arrival to Casa Cuarteles, before check-in, you are kindly asked to:
- Disinfect your hands
- Use our shoe disinfection device
- Allow our staff to check your temperature. We use a non-contact thermometer and the result will be logged.
A temperature higher than 37 degrees celsius will be reported to Cuban Health Care (MINSAP).
On daily basis
Each morning, before entering the breakfast area, our staff will check your temperature. We use a non-contact thermometer and the result will be logged.

How we protect staff from Covid-19
All members of our staff are trained in the risks related to COVID-19. They all know the necessary protection and prevention measures as follows:
- Maintaining 2 meters distance to other people
- Correct use of mask, face shield and gloves
- Correct washing of hands and use of disinfectant lotion
- Immediately report any signs of Covid-19 (guest or staff member showing symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath)
- Call in sick if any of the Covid-19 symptoms shows outside working hours
